Kedrythe "Kay" E. (Carter) Rohrer

Kedrythe "Kay" E. Rohrer (nee Carter), 78, of Parkman, peacefully passed away Sunday morning, April 24th, 2016 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. She was born in Tifton, Georgia on May 6th, 1937. Kay later married Horst "Ben" T. Rohrer on January 31st, 1959.

She was the owner/realtor of Kardinal Country Realty in Middlefield for nearly 30 years. Kay had a very kind soul who always put others before herself. She was a great example for her children by teaching them about real love and how to look for the best in people. Kay enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she always considered the apples of her eye!

Kay will be missed by: her loving husband of 57 years, Ben; children, Hans "Butch" (Dianne) Rohrer, Edie (Charlie) Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Greta Rohrer, Kaitlyn Thibodeaux, Grant Thibodeaux, Mandy Thibodeaux; siblings, Bob (Nancy) Wheelock, Joyce (Tom) Martin, Jackie (Bob) Podboy, Jack Carter, Vicky Carter Miles; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents; step-father, Donald Wheelock; brother, Jack Mason; and sister, Cathy Wheelock.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE AT 1 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 27TH, 2016 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH. Interment will follow at Overlook Cemetery in Parkman, OH. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 11 A.M. until the time of service.
