John D. Miller

John D. Miller, 86, of Middlefield Twp, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, May 17th, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Middlefield on January 15th, 1929 to the late Dan M. Miller and Katie (Yoder) Miller-Wengerd. John later married Betty (Schmucker) on August 17th, 1950. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 64 years, 9 months, Betty; children, Dan (Savannah) Miller, Bill (Betty) Miller, Erma (John) Stutzman, John (Barbara) Miller, Owen (Mary Ellen) Miller, Allen (Barbara) Miller; 34 grandchildren; 88 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. John is preceded in death by: his parents; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and 1 step-sister.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., TUESDAY, MAY 19TH, 2015 AT 16118A OLD STATE RD., MIDDLEFIELD TWP with Bishop Melvin R. Byler officiating. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. John's final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
