James "Jim" K. Gross

James "Jim" K. Gross, 80, of Parkman, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, September 20th, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cleveland, OH on January 29th, 1937 to the late James and Florence (Tylicki) Gross. Jim later married Sharon Babcock in November 1969. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Jim enjoyed fishing, watching the Indians, Buckeyes, and Browns. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of 48 years, Sharon. daughters, Kim (Jeff Huckleberry) Gross of Pittsburgh, Michelle (James) Farmer of Warren; grandchildren, Jaxon, Isabella, Cooper; brothers, David (Grace) Gross, Karl Gross; sister, Judy Reed; and many friends. Jim is preceded in death by: his parents, sister, Arlene Delphia; and brother-in-laws, Tony Delphia and Alan Reed.

FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL BE RECEIVED FROM 2-5 PM, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH, 2017 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
