Emma E. Yoder (nee Miller), 96, of Middlefield Twp, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home Friday evening, March 2nd, 2018. She was born in Middlefield on March 7th, 1921 to the late Eli P. and Katie F. (Miller) Miller. Emma is now reunited with her loving husband, Sam E. Yoder, who died in 2001. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She will be greatly missed by: her loving children, Katie (Harvey) Byler, Elizabeth (Melvin) Miller, Anna (Joseph) Miller, Eli (Sarah) Yoder, Elmer (Ruth) Yoder, Ada (Allen) Miller, Sam (Martha) Yoder Jr., Fannie (John) Fisher; 59 grandchildren; 216 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; caregivers, Joseph and Nancy Miller and their family; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Miller; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Emma is preceded in death by: her loving husband, Sam; parents, Eli and Katie; 2 stillborn sons; 1 grandchild; 1 great-grandchild; 1 great-great-grandchild; 7 brothers; and 3 sisters.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., MONDAY, MARCH 5TH, 2018 AT 17532 PETERS RD., MIDDLEFIELD TWP, OH with Bishop Andy J. Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Donnie Schmucker, Chester Detweiler, Melvin Mullet, and Allen Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the time of the service. Emma’s final resting place will be in Nauvoo Road Cemetery, Middlefield Twp, OH.
