Emma A. (Miller) Kurtz

Emma A. Kurtz (nee Miller), 92, of Nelson, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, May 24th, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Middlefield, OH on July 30th, 1924 to the late Andy D. and Amanda P. (Miller) Miller. Emma is now once again reunited with her husband, Daniel M. Kurtz, who died June 17th, 2010.

She enjoyed visiting friends and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. They meant everything to her. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Emma will be greatly missed by: daughter, Nancy (Chris) Byler; granddaughters, Laura (Christopher) Pierce, Lucinda (Marvin) Marner, Leanna (Ammon) Weaver ; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Daniel; grandson, Jonathan Byler; and 10 siblings.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., FRIDAY, MAY 26TH, 2017, AT BISHOP FERDINAND J. MILLER'S RESIDENCE, 16155 SOLTIS RD., PARKMAN, OH Pallbearers will be Freeman Miller, Marvin Miller, Robert Byler, and David Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the time of the service. Emma's final resting place will be in Weaver Cemetery, West Farmington, OH.
