Elmer J. Byler

Elmer J. Byler, 78, of Middlefield, passed away suddenly Tuesday evening, December 27th, 2016 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. He was born in Atlantic, PA on January 6th, 1938 to the late Jerry E. and Mary Ann (Miller) Byler. Elmer enjoyed drawing and making wooden toys. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He will be greatly missed by: brother, Daniel J. (Malinda) Byler; sister-in-law, Sarah Byler; 34 nieces and nephews; caregiver, Amanda W. Byler; and many friends. Elmer is preceded in death by: his parents, brothers, Mahlon J.E. Byler, William J.E. Byler; sister, Amanda J. Byler; sister-in-law, Cora Byler; 1 nieces; and 1 nephew.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., FRIDAY, DECEMBER 30TH, 2016, AT 16988 NAUVOO RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Rudy Detweiler officiating. Pallbearers will be Daniel J. Miller, Mahlon Detweiler, Levi Mullet, and Joseph Detweiler. Elmer's final resting place will be in Nauvoo Road Cemetery, Middlefield Twp, OH.
