Eli Ed Troyer

Eli Ed Troyer, 91, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, May 6th, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Hartville, OH on September 19th, 1923 to the late Dan D. and Emma (Hochstetler) Troyer. Eli is now reunited with his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Ann (Miller), who died in 2011. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He will be missed by: children, Paul (Sadie) Troyer, Val (Dawn) Troyer, Sue (Les) Mullet, Dorothy (Andy Jr.) Miller, Alta (Eli "Bim") Byler, Marie (Dan) Mast, Katie (Noah) Schmucker; 29 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Eli is preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Mary Ann; 6 brothers; 2 sisters; and 2 great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., FRIDAY, MAY 8TH, 2015 AT 14407 N. OLD STATE RD, MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Andy Byler officiating. Eli's final resting place will be next to his wife in Miller Cemetery, Huntsburg, OH. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service at 14410 N. Old State Rd., Middlefield, OH.
