Daniel M. Cico

Daniel M. Cico, 69, of Middlefield, entered eternal rest Monday morning, November 13th, 2017 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. He was born on July 30th, 1948 to Daniel and Phyllis (Elser) Cico. He later married Karen Bonar on September 30th, 1967.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Ramstein AFB in Germany for four years. After returning from the military, he worked at General Electric for 33 years until his retirement. Dan then started his own internet company called Simply Connect. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Dan always had a smile and great personality that will truly be missed.

Dan leaves behind to mourn his loss are: his loving wife of 50 years, Karen; children, Tammie (Roger) Weber, Christopher Cico, Katrina Cico; grandchildren, Cory Weber, Kayla (Eric) Weingart, Hannah Weber, Jacob Cico, Zachary Cico; mother-in-law, Helen Bonar; brothers, David Cico, Lee (Karen) Cico; sisters, Marsha (Mark) Waldorf, Beth Richards; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by: his parents; son, Benjamin Cico; and father-in-law, Garth "Opa" Bonar; and numerous family members.

Family and friends will be received from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M., Friday, November 17th, 2017 at Lighthouse UMC, 14780 Mayfield Rd, East Claridon, OH 44033. This will be the only viewing time for Dan. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT 2:00 P.M., SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH, 2017 AT THE CHURCH with Pastor Karen Cico officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan's memory are requested to be made out to Lighthouse UMC.
