Daniel J. Miller

Daniel J. Miller, 76, of North Bloomfield, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family Friday afternoon, October 14th, 2016. He was born in Warren, OH on May 14th, 1940 to the late Joe P. and Amanda (Miller) Miller. Daniel later married Sylvia J. Hershberger on August 4th, 1960. Daniel was a retired factory worker and also an Ordained Deacon of the North Bloomfield East District. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of 56 years, Sylvia; children, Kenneth (Emma) Miller, Joseph (Cindy) Miller, Sally (Robert) Miller, Daniel (Laura) Miller, David (Barbara) Miller, MaryLou (Michael) Slaubaugh, Martha (Melvin) Miller, Laura (Wayne) Miller; 60 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; 3 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Daniel is preceded in death by: his parents; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and 2 grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., MONDAY, OCTOBER 17TH, 2016, AT WAYNE M. MILLER'S RESIDENCE, 1731 HAINES RD., ORWELL, OH with Bishop Albert R. Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Daniel Wengerd, Sam Fisher, Albert Miller, and Robert Yoder. Visitation will be anytime until the time of the service. Daniel's final resting place will be in Clover Hill Cemetery, North Bloomfield, OH.
