Daniel C. Byler

Daniel C. Byler, 85, of Parkman, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, March 7th, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mesopotamia, OH on April 19th, 1929 to the late Crist C. and Lizzie (Detweiler) Byler. Dan later married Sarah Schmucker on December 21st, 1950. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 64 years, Sarah; children, Betty (Enos) Detweiler, Wally (Ann) Byler, Ray (Betty) Byler, Jonas (Sarah) Byler, Susan (Crist) Miller, Allen (Barbara) Byler, Chester (Barbara) Byler, Bill (Mary Ellen) Byler, Mary Ann (Noah) Byler, Barbara (Joas) Troyer, Marvin (Kristine) Byler, Robert (Linda) Byler, Elma (Erwin) Byler, Sarah (Kenny) Miller, Martha (Marvin) Yoder; daughter-in-law, Erma Byler; 142 grandchildren; 205 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dan is preceded in death by: his parents; sons, Dan D. Byler and Crist D. Byler; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; and 4 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., TUESDAY, MARCH 10TH, 2015 AT 16720 NEWCOMB RD., PARKMAN, OH with Bishop Wayne Weaver officiating. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Dan's final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
