Corabell D. (Mathews) Bytnar

Corabell D. Bytnar (Mathews), 89, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, December 6th, 2017 at Blossom Hill Heathcare in Huntsburg. She was born in Hadley, PA on May 9th, 1928 to Emma Mathews and Charles Swager. Corabell is now reunited with her loving husband, John Bytnar, who died in 1986.

She enjoyed listening to country music, going to yard sales, collecting key chains and salt and pepper shakers, taking care of her German Shepherd, Hillary, watching her favorite shows, Bonanza and Gunsmoke, embroidering pillow cases, and doing puzzles.

Corabell will be greatly missed by: her children, Dorothy (Jack) Kerns, John (Sherry Cervelli) Bytnar, Kathy (Jerry) Gibbs, Darlene (Glenn) Shale, David "Bob" (Kathy) Bytnar, Joe (Stephanie Boyd) Bytnar, Mike (Linda) Bytnar; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Raymond Blair, Glenn (Donna) Richmond; and many friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents, husband John; grandson, Benjamin Gibbs; brothers, Richard Blair, George Blair, Harry Blair, Lester Richmond; sister-in-law, Cora Blair; and 3 infant sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 10:00 A.M., SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9TH, 2017 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, December 8th, 2017 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Corabell's final resting place will be next to her husband, John, in Overlook Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
