Betty I. (Shaffer) Parrino

Betty I. Parrino (nee Shaffer), 93, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully at Briar Hill Healthcare Residence Saturday morning, September 23rd, 2017. She was born in Wellsburg, WV on December 11th, 1923 to the late Thomas E. and Mary (Wright) Shaffer. Betty enjoyed gardening and making all different types of crafts. One of her favorites was crewel embroidery.

She will be greatly missed by: children, Richard (Mary) Johnson of Sullivan, OH, Linda (Brian) Bonjack of Burton, OH, Harry (Sherry) Ortman of Florida; grandchildren, Cyndi (John) Downs, Matthew (Wendi) Johnson, Stephanie (Chris Bellus) Bonjack, Carolyn (Bill) Robinson; great-grandchildren, Calder, Shawn, Cody, Trustin, Ethan, Joseph, Isaiah; great-great-granddaughter, Bailey; brother Thomas (Ellen) Shaffer of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; special friend, Alice Harrison; and many other friends. Betty is preceded in death by: her parents and grandson, Richard Johnson.

Per Betty's request, a private service will be held at a later date.
