Ada M. (Yoder) Kurtz

Ada M. Kurtz (nee Yoder), 88, of Garrettsville, passed away suddenly while walking to Church early Sunday morning, September 11th, 2016. She was born in Middlefield, OH on April 7th, 1928 to the late Menno D. and Elva B. (Hostetler) Yoder. Ada is now reunited with her loving husband of 42 years, Wallace J. Kurtz, who died in 1990. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She will be greatly missed by: children, Melvin (Mary Ann) Kurtz, Mary (John) Detweiler, Daniel (Katie) Kurtz, Betty (Dan) Detweiler, Nancy (Allen) Mast, Elva (Eli) Detweiler, Wally (Sara) Kurtz Jr., Marty (Clara) Kurtz, Marvin (Sadie) Kurtz; 53 grandchildren; 119 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ada is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Wallace; an infant daughter; and 3 brothers.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH, 2016, 12947 BROSIUS RD., GARRETTSVILLE, OH with Minister Pete A. Troyer officiating. Pallbearers will be Ray Wengerd, Reuben Byler, Ben Troyer, and John Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the time of the service. Ada's final resting place will be in Weaver Cemetery, West Farmington, OH.
