Frankie L. Torres

Frankie
L. Torres, 72, of Hiram Twp, entered eternal rest on Monday evening, June
21st, 2010, at UHHS - Geauga Regional
Hospital surrounded
by his family and friends. He leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years,
Mary Ann (Hobbs).
He
was born in Hardin County,
KY on September 2nd,
1937 to the late Bill and Blanche Torres. Frankie has resided in
northeast Ohio
for over 50 years and retired as an auto worker from the Lordstown GM auto plant after 37 years. He was a hero
to his children and cherished spending time with his grandchildren.
Frankie enjoyed tending to his horses and yard work. He also spent many
days fishing on his boat, “The Spanish Fly”.
Frankie
is survived by: his wife; children, Frankie Torres Jr. of Hiram Twp,
Johnny (Denise) Torres of Diamond, Debbie (Scott) Sukey
of Hiram; brothers, Johnny, Doug, Tony, and Leo; and 10 grandchildren. He
is preceded in death by: his son, Timothy; brothers, Vincent, Billy, and
Jimmy; and sister, Barbara Sue.
FAMILY
AND FRIENDS WILL BE HOLDING A GATHERING IN MEMORY OF FRANKIE AT HIS
RESIDENCE ON SATURDAY, JULY 10TH, 2010. A SHORT PRAYER SERVICE
WILL BE CONDUCTED WITH DINNER BEGINNING AT 4 P.M.
