Daniel A. Wengerd,
age 44, of Mesopotamia, entered eternal
rest due to natural causes Sunday evening, October 30th, 2011 at home surrounded
by his family. He was born November
8th, 1966 to Andy N. and Martha (Kuhns) Wengerd.
He was a lifelong resident of Mesopotamia
and a member of the Old
Order Amish
Church. Daniel loved
working outdoors on the farm. His favorite activities included mowing
lawns, splitting firewood and working in the barn.
Daniel is survived by: his loving mother;
siblings, Ervin Wengerd of Mesopotamia, Raymond
(Mary) Wengerd of Mesopotamia, Betty (David) Byler of Huntsburg, Freeman (Katie) Wengerd
of Mesopotamia, Firman (Esther) Wengerd of Windsor, Emma (Lester) Yoder of Orwell, Norman
(Ruth) Wengerd of Mesopotamia, Mose (Mary) Wengerd of
Mesopotamia, Andy (Elizabeth) Wengerd of
Mesopotamia, Martha (Allen) Fisher of Orwell; and many nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father.
Funeral
Services will be held at 9:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND, 2011 at 9600 Bundysburg Rd, Mesopotamia, OH
with
Bishop Andy L. Yoder officiating. His final resting place will be in Wilcox Road
Cemetery in Mesopotamia.
Visitation will be anytime until the time of service at the residence.
